Questions About Arkaso News
What is this?
A weekly newsletter for HVAC owners about how AI answering systems actually work — what they cost, how long setup takes, what they handle, what they don't, and whether they're worth it for a trades business.
Who writes it?
Earle Conway, who runs Arkaso. Background in construction management and real estate before building this. Every issue is written by him — no ghostwriters, no AI-generated filler.
How often does it come out?
Every Tuesday.
What's it cost?
Nothing. There's no paid tier.
Why is it free?
Because Arkaso sells AI voice systems to HVAC contractors, and the fastest way to earn a skeptical owner's attention is to be useful before asking for anything. Some readers eventually become clients. Most don't, and that's fine.
Is this just a sales pitch?
Every issue ends with an invitation to book a call. That's the only sales content in it. The rest is straight information, including the parts that aren't flattering to what we sell — what the system can't do, when it isn't worth it, and what a bad implementation looks like.
If you want the honest version rather than the marketing version, that's what this is.
Do I have to be an HVAC contractor?
No, but it's written for them. Plumbers, electricians, roofers, and other service businesses will find most of it applies. If you're not in the trades, some examples won't land.
Why do you ask questions when I sign up?
So the emails are useful instead of generic. Knowing your company size and where you are in evaluating this stuff changes what's worth sending you.
The only required answers are your first name and one question about where you are in the process. Skip the rest if you'd rather.
What happens after I subscribe?
You'll get a confirmation email — click the link in it. Then a short welcome sequence over the first week, and the Tuesday issue after that.
I subscribed but nothing arrived.
Check spam and promotions. If it's there, drag it to your primary inbox so future issues land correctly.
If it isn't anywhere, email [email protected] and we'll sort it.
Why does the first email ask me to reply?
Because a reply is the strongest signal to your email provider that you actually want these messages. One reply and future issues land in your inbox instead of a promotions folder.
Takes two seconds and it's the difference between reading this and never seeing it.
Can I reply with a question?
Yes, and they get read. Questions from readers frequently become issues.
How do I unsubscribe?
Link at the bottom of every email. One click, no confirmation step, no retention email trying to talk you out of it.
Do you sell my email address?
No. Not to anyone, for any reason.
Will I get sales calls because I subscribed?
No. Subscribing puts you on an email list, not a call list. If you want to talk, you book a call yourself.
Can I share issues with other people?
Please do. Forward them, quote them with attribution, send them to anyone who'd find them useful.
How do I read past issues?
They're all at news.arkaso.com.
I'm interested in Arkaso's services. What now?
Book a free fifteen-minute call at arkaso.com/voice.
Before the call, we'll set up a demo AI receptionist that answers as your company — your name, your service area, your hours. You call it yourself and hear what your customers would hear. Takes a minute and costs nothing.
