Privacy Policy
Last updated:July 21st 2026
Arkaso News is a weekly newsletter published by Arkaso, a company based in Raleigh, North Carolina that builds AI voice and lead automation systems for service businesses.
This policy covers the newsletter — what we collect when you subscribe, how we use it, and how to leave.
What We Collect
When you subscribe
Your email address
Your first name, if you provide it
Answers to the optional signup questions — company size, current challenges, and where you are in evaluating AI answering systems
The signup questions are optional except for your name and one question about where you are in the process. You can skip the rest.
Automatically
Whether you opened an issue and which links you clicked
General location based on IP address, at the country or region level
Device and email client type
We use this to understand which issues are useful and which aren't. We don't use it to build a detailed profile of you.
If you reply
Anything you write in a reply, including your question about AI answering systems if you submitted one at signup. We read these. They shape what gets written.
How We Use It
Send you the weekly issue
Personalize emails with your name and, occasionally, tailor content to what you told us at signup
Follow up if you asked a question we haven't answered yet
Understand which topics land and which don't
Let you know about Arkaso services when relevant
We do not sell your information. We do not rent our list. We do not share your email with other companies for their marketing.
Who Processes Your Data
The newsletter runs on Beehiiv, which stores subscriber data and handles delivery. Subscriber information also flows into our customer relationship management system so we can respond to replies and track conversations.
Both are service providers acting on our behalf. Neither uses your information for their own purposes.
Email Tracking
Our emails contain a small tracking pixel that tells us whether the message was opened, and links that record clicks. This is standard for newsletters.
If you'd rather not be tracked, most email clients let you disable image loading, which prevents the open pixel from firing.
Unsubscribing
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list — no confirmation step, no "are you sure."
Unsubscribing removes you from future issues. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so we don't accidentally add you back.
You can also reply to any issue and ask to be removed, and we'll handle it.
Data Retention
We keep subscriber information while you're subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping. If you want your data deleted entirely rather than just unsubscribed, email us and we'll do it.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to object to how we use it.
Email [email protected] and we'll respond.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect subscriber information. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection.
Children
This newsletter is written for business owners. It isn't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the current version.
