🧮 What One AI Voice System Actually Adds in 30 Days

— Here's The Real Math

We ran the numbers for a 2-tech shop, a 5-tech operation, and a 10-tech company.

Every owner eventually asks the same question. What is this actually worth to my business?

Fair question. Here's the math for three different sized operations. These are conservative assumptions — average ticket sizes and typical missed-call rates. Your real numbers are probably higher.

The 2-Tech Shop

You and one tech. You answer calls when you can. Realistically missing about 4 a week — mostly while you're on jobs or after hours.

Missed calls/week

4

Average job

$450

Weekly loss

$1,800

Monthly loss

$7,200

Annual loss

$86,400

Starter tier runs $297/month. Capture just 2 of those 4 calls a week and that's $900 weekly — $3,600 a month. The system covers itself roughly twelve times over.

The 5-Tech Operation

Office manager handles the phone during business hours. Nights and weekends go to voicemail. Missing somewhere around 9 calls a week.

Missed calls/week

9

Average job

$550 (with upsells and maintenance agreements)

Weekly loss

$4,950

Monthly loss

$19,800

Annual loss

$237,600

Professional tier runs $497/month. Capture 4 of the 9 and that's $2,200 a week — $8,800 a month.

The 10-Tech Company

Two office staff on the phones. Still losing after-hours, peak season overflow, and the lunch window. Around 15 a week.

Missed calls/week

15

Average job

$650 (with commercial and replacements)

Weekly loss

$9,750

Monthly loss

$39,000

Annual loss

$468,000

Growth tier runs $697/month. Capture 6 of the 15 and that's $3,900 a week — $15,600 a month.

Where the gains actually come from

Not evenly across the board. The bulk of it is after-hours — calls currently going to voicemail with a near-zero recovery rate — and peak season overflow when your team is already maxed and the phone keeps ringing.

Those also happen to be your higher-ticket calls, which is why the recovered revenue tends to run above your average ticket rather than at it.

The honest caveat

The system doesn't guarantee you capture every missed call. Some people hang up on any answering system. Some calls need a human and get flagged for callback instead.

What it guarantees is that every call gets answered, every lead gets a response, and every appointment that can be booked gets booked — without you or your office staff being available around the clock to make that happen.

Run your own numbers before you believe mine. Take your missed calls per week, multiply by your average ticket. That figure is what you're deciding about.
